“My brain isn’t broken. It’s just… built for a different operating system.”
For most of my life, I’ve tried to “get it together.” I made schedules I didn’t follow, set goals I forgot about, and shamed myself for needing more time, more space, more quiet, more something. Turns out I wasn’t lazy, I wasn’t stupid, and I wasn’t just dramatic – I was neurodivergent.
This blog is born from both frustration and the progress to freedom.
Frustration that the world often expects us to mask our struggles or explain our needs with a smile.

Freedom for the progress in learning I don’t have to fit into the mold I was never shaped for.
I chose the name Neurodivergent Chaos because, well, that’s exactly what it feels like most days. A swirl of noise, ideas, emotions, half-finished projects, and a deep desire to be understood (and understand myself).
Here, I’ll share:
- The messy middle: the hard days, the shame spirals, the burnout.
- The tiny wins: like remembering to eat, setting boundaries, or finding the perfect playlist for overstimulation.
- The real tools: Stuff that helped me cope, plan, calm down, speak up, and show up.
This isn’t a “how-to” blog. It’s a “me-too” blog. And if you’ve ever felt like you’re too much and not enough at the same time… you’re not alone.
Welcome to the chaos. I’m glad you’re here. 💙
